Basics of Flying

1) Taxi onto the runway and maintain the centerline
2) Apply full power
3) Accelerate to 55 knots and rotate
4) Climb out at 75 knots

1) Select a point on the runway (preferably the runway numbers)
2) Parallel to the numbers, pull the power back
3) Pitch for 85 knots, flaps 10 degrees
4) When the numbers are 45 degrees off of your should turn base
5) Apply 20 degrees of flaps and maintain 70 knots
6) Turn final and add final flaps
7) Maintain 60 knots
8) Above the runway, smoothly reduce power, shift eyes to the end of the runway and touchdown smoothly
9) Exit the runway
